Rockybot ("we", "us") is a technology company based in Colombia that builds AI agents for customer attention, cloud infrastructure, and mobile applications. For the purposes of this policy, Rockybot is the data controller of the personal data collected through this website and our communication channels.

• Contact form: full name, email address, company, service of interest, preferred contact method, and the message you send us.
• Chat conversations: messages you exchange with our AI agents through the chat widget on this site or through messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger, together with the identifiers those platforms provide (for example your phone number or profile name).
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) needed to operate and secure the site.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
• To operate our AI agents, which answer questions on our behalf and register leads in our CRM.
• To improve our services and the quality of our agents' responses.
• To send you information you have asked for and to comply with legal obligations.

Conversations with our agents are processed by AI language models to generate responses, and may be reviewed by our team to ensure quality and follow up on your request.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (habeas data), Decree 1377 of 2013, and related regulations. By submitting the contact form or writing to our channels, you authorize Rockybot to process your data for the purposes described in this policy.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to operate our services — such as cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services) and messaging platforms (Meta, for WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger) — which process it under their own terms, and with authorities when the law requires it.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, while our commercial relationship with you is active, or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

7. Your rights

Under Law 1581 of 2012 you have the right to know, access, update, rectify, and delete your personal data, to revoke the authorization you have given, and to file complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).

8. Cookies and local storage

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use browser local storage for functional purposes only: remembering your language preference and keeping your chat session with our agent active.
